Info from Licensor: "This video was taken in Vancouver, BC on September 7th, 2022 at YVR airport. My boyfriend and I were volunteering and went in to adopt the 2-year-old dog, Lucy. She was saved from slaughter from a restaurant in Wuhan China about to be made into paw meat soup. These dogs are saved from the Yulin meat festival. Many are saved from butchers moments from being turned into meat. The organization China Rescue Dogs saved these pups on freedom flights into Canada and the US. They all had fosters or forever homes waiting upon arrival. Lucy is safe and living her best life. This was my life goal to save animals, and my heart is so filled with love being a part of this amazing organization."
