Afghanistan angry over US' decision to move country's assets to Swiss trust

The US intends to transfer part of Afghanistan's national assets to a Swiss bank, saying that it will not release money directly to an Afghan institution as there is no guarantee that civilians will benefit - leaving the Central Bank of Afghanistan fuming and condemning the decision as illegal, as well as prompting mass protests.
