Poland on Saturday opened a new sea waterway, which the country's leaders say will stop its need to take permission from Russia for ships to travel from Baltic Sea to the ports of Vistula Lagoon. The country's PM Mateusz Morawiecki said that with the opening of this shipping canal, Poland will "break the last bonds of [its] dependence on Russia".
