(The High Status of Learning in the Life of God’s people)

Obj: that the brethren may continue to learn and well

Intro:
Learn - to acquire knowledge of or skill in by study, instruction, or experience
Bible verses

Things to Consider in Learning Well:
1. Learning is Primary and Crucial – v.1
a. Mentioned prior to keeping and doing
2. Learn the Important things – vv. 2-21 – the Ten Commandments
3. Learning can be Difficult – v.23 – ‘darkness’
4. Learning can be Scary – vv.29
a. And therefore needs courage to do – ‘heart’
5. Learning is committed to a Teacher – vv. 30-31 – Moses – ‘stand by me’
Message/conclusion:

Let us continue to learn the words and will of the Lord, and be well in doing so.
