Patricia Kara Cameron, sometimes known as JoAnna Cameron, was born on September 20, 1948 in Greeley, Colorado.

Cameron was cast as the lead of the Saturday morning children's series "The Secrets Of Isis" in 1975. Cameron played Andrea Thomas, a teenage high school science teacher who discovers an enchanted amulet while in Egypt in the series.

Cameron passed away on October 15, 2021, in Oahu, Hawaii, as a result of complications following a stroke.
