Today in science is cool, we will talk about northeast monsoon. September is the transitional period for our northeast monsoon. This duration brings some rains and cold weather and wind direction is shifting from southwest to northeast.

A monsoon is a seasonal change in the direction of a wind in a region. Monsoon occurs in tropical areas like here in Thailand.

Northeast monsoon starts around mid-October and ends around February next year. During this time, winter is in the northern hemisphere.
