There is an increasing multitude of false information out there – in churches, politics, news…everywhere. Now more than ever, there is a burning need to learn to discern what information is true and what information is not. It is imperative that we do not let ourselves be deceived in this time.

Why Does It Matter?
Unfortunately, a vast majority of the churches have utterly failed us. They’re not calling out lies as lies, deception as deception, and evil as evil. They are not telling us the truth about what is happening in the world. How are we going to be prepared if we don’t even know what is going on?

Many churches say politics have no place in the church, but when evil in politics start affecting the church family, then it’s time to be honest about what is happening. It is time to take a stand and help educate our people by calling out evil for what it is like Jesus did. Instead, the churches have taken a stance that unity is best and it’s all about love. They say we shouldn’t call evil out because someone might get offended. They say it would be sowing division. Thus, the churches have strayed from the Bible.

What Can You do?
There is an urgent need for a church that gets back to focusing on the Bible, sticking to the truths in the Bible. This Bible study will be a group doing just that. This is the group of gathering believers that will take a stand, calling evil what it is as Jesus did, not worrying about politics or offending people.

Believers need to be informed and prepared to deal with everything that is happening… we need to have courage to speak the truth. We need to tap into wisdom and knowledge as Proverbs leads us to do. We need to follow the lead of Jesus. And in doing so, God will provide us the perfect peace he promised us all over the Bible, like in Isaiah 26:3: You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.

So, join us in this journey to tap into the Bible to learn God’s truths, follow His very clear instructions for us, learn to discern deception that could lead us astray, and tap into God’s perfect peace. In doing so, God will begin to do his work in and through us as followers of Jesus, the most fulfilling life you could possibly live.
