The Box Score Episode 331: Brewers vs. Cubs Doubleheader Reaction Recap (05/30/2022)
On Memorial Day Monday, the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs played a day night doubleheader at Wrigley Field. Game one was the originally scheduled game which saw two starting pitchers make not only their 2022 season debut, but the Major League Baseball debut.
The Milwaukee Brewers looked to Ethan Small in his start for the brew crew while the Cubs turned to Matt Swarmer to show what he capable of in his first big league start.
In game two of the doubleheader, the Brewers and Cubs would play to make up the game postponed back on Friday April 8th with Aaron Ashby (0-3) going for Milwaukee while Drew Smyly (2-5) would take the mound for the northsides.
Would it be the Brewers or Cubs to sweep the doubleheader or would the two teams earn a split?
