Are cats and fish natural enemies? Do cats like to eat fish?

When I was traveling in the city of the East, I captured an interesting moment. In a temple, there was a cat guarding the fish in the pond. The fish liked the cat very much and had a very friendly interaction. Do you think cats have changed, or fish have changed?
