Worlds Apart | Caught in the middle? - Maya Mirchandani
Back in 1955, when Soviet General Secretary Nikita Khrushchev was visiting India, he told his hosts that Moscow and New Delhi were so close that if the Indians were to call from the mountain tops, the Russians would be at their side. Fast-forward almost 70 years and the Russian-Indian partnership is still going strong, despite global upheavals and at times divergent interests. What keeps the two together while also pulling them apart? To discuss this, Oksana is joined by Maya Mirchandani, Senior Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation in India.
