In the latest Art Commission meeting, an appointed commissioner wonders why the communist fist statue was rejected by the city council.

This comes a month after she was quoted saying the statue was "controversial" and made the motion to approve it anyway. Vice-Chairman Jennifer Drake offered to inform her after the public meeting. Laughs were recorded as she was wondering why it was rejected. CDA Press reporter, who wrote the front page article, didn't respond to her.
