Build a mindset that motivates you
I think our mindset is the foundation for SO MUCH of what we do.
I didn't have time to mention during this video, but changing our minds mindset is often a process - not a "switch."
Hanging out with people who uplift us, teach us, and motivate us to do more helps.
It can be hard to change physical locations (especially if you're in your teens), but you can also get a similar effect by consuming positive content. Think videos, podcasts, articles, books, etc!
It's common in the fitness industry to hear "push yourself out of your comfort zone."
I agree with this, but I think it's also important to find a balance with what feels natural to you.
So the upshot is that you don't have to hang out with people just because they make you uncomfortable.
