Dehydrating Eggs
45
This was my first try and they turned out great!
You'll need:
Eggs (I did 2.5 DZ)
Dehydrator
Fruit Leathers (a fancy term for silicone trays)
Blender
Food Processor or coffee grinder
A way to store them. I chose to vacuum seal mine to save on space!
A friend told me to turn my setting down from 145* to 115* and that really did seem to be the perfect temp. Let them dehydrate until they are crunchy and without any moisture. Anywhere from 12-24 hours depending on your dehydrator. (Moisture is a breeding ground for bacteria)
To reconstitute: 1TBS ground dehydrated eggs mixed with 2TBS Water.
Let sit for approx. 10 mins. Mix well.
