Thomas DeVore, What Zuc and other "Special Interests" don't want you to hear

Ultimately, this bill was crammed through last minute by special interest groups without The Illinois Legislature. Pritzker and his cronies are misleading the public. Facebook is using Third Rate News Outlets and their "journalists" to keep this from public scrutiny, which in my opinion IS "election interference."

What sort of LEGAL expertise does "Lead Stories" have that would be grounds for suppressing an Illinois candidate for Attorney General's voice? He is an Illinois Judge, I suppose he would understand the law better than some Third Rate journalists from outlets that no one has ever heard of outside of Facebook. What exactly are their credentials that Zuc/Facebook would consider their legal opinions worthy of suppressing a political candidate's speech? Does Zuc have some vested interest in Illinois' elections? I believe he lives in Hawaii. This is not just the opinion of DeVore, the Orland Park mayor and States Attorneys from both parties have arrived at the same legal conclusion as DeVore. Tucker Carlson, though he may be biased, also aired this on his show. I'm sure Tucker Carlson has Fact Checkers.

The Bill Introduced in February 2019 has morphed into what we now call "The Illinois SAFE T Act.

The original bill passed The House in April of 2019, and sat dead until January 10, of 2021.

Democrats gutted and replaced bill right before the new General Assembly was supposed to take over. They completely replaced it with what we now know as the Illinois SAFE T Act.

Special Interest Democrats shoved this whole Amendment in there and pushed it through at the last minute. The NEW GENERAL ASSEMBLY was to take over in about an hour and they didn't have the 60 votes they needed in THE HOUSE. It was only in front of the General Assembly for a couple days.

Games are being played as usual in Illinois by certain Democrats. This is an abuse of due process.

Pritzker when discussing this in the media plays word games. Why the Fact Checks on Facebook.

Eg: Forcible Felony, can automatically be detained. The SAFE T Act would have no effect on the crimes that are automatic detainment.

The SAFE T Act has an effect on crime that doesn't always warrant an automatic detainment.

Non detainable (depends on criminal code): Second degree murder, you cannot be automatically detained. Other offenses you cannot automatically be detained for include: kidnapping, robbery, aggravated DUI, Many Illinois States Attorneys statewide agree with DeVore's interpretation (bipartisan agreement).

The effect of the SAFE T Act is that it turns something most would consider a criminal offense and changes it to more or less a Civil Offense, effectively. Legal Tricks.

The Illinois General Assembly must correct this IMMEDIATELY before we have more crime victims after this goes into effect January 2023.
