The Gun Deck: M-16/AR-15 Part 1

In this first part of this 2 part series, I show how to clear, field strip and clean my retro build M-16 style AR-15. This is essentially the base model of the AR-15, what Colt later referred to as their 601 model. The procedures I show here work for ANY AR-15 platform rifle, carbine or pistol that is Direct Gas Impingement operated.
