Devils hate bells - according to an excorcist interviewed at the NCR website, link below.

He said the following points in the interview:

There are "many tools into the fight against evil such as music, chants, sacred art, a team of prayer warriors, holy water and blessed bells to overwhelm the devil."

"Why bells?", the exorcist said because it draws attention to the essence of all being - the Truth that " The Word Became Flesh." That truth upsets the devil so much.

Since the enemy attacks us through our 5 senses, the Church over the years garnered some truth that indeed the blessed bells repels the devil.

Another reason the devil hates bells is because they hate everything beautiful and holy. Everything set apart for our God.

What makes us holy? Blessings

What makes us unholy - the world corrupted by sin and a life without God.
