I believe that the epistle to the Romans is probably the most important passage of scripture in the entire Bible. Parts of the gospel and the Christian life can be found scattered through the various books of the New Testament and some build their entire understanding of the Christian life on those isolated verses. Then, they mix in a lot of traditional ideas and end up with misunderstanding. But Romans 1-8 gives the most comprehensive presentation of the gospel and the Christian life found anywhere in the whole Bible. It changed my life. I pray that it will transform yours.
