Depositors storm banks in Lebanon, demanding release of money

Customers have stormed banks in Lebanon in an attempt to get them to release their money amid the ongoing financial crisis.

One of the customers identified in media reports as businessman Abed Soubra shouted his demands to local media from inside a branch of BLOM Bank in Beirut’s Tareek Jadeedeh neighborhood, as he tried to negotiate for the release of his funds.
