Plant Growth is a beautiful figure of Christian character growth. We look at the plants growing and compare it to our growth to be like Christ. Either you are growing, or you are dying. Christ gives the seed—the plant—the fruit the spark of His LIFE. To grow in the Christian graces of love, joy, peace we need that LIFE from Christ to be transformed out of our selfish nature through connection with Him! Not to decide to do Christ’s will is deciding to be under the bondage of self. We must send up our roots to Jesus for His water/bread of life. We fall in love with Jesus our Helper that changes us! Are you growing, bearing the fruits of the Spirit?
