Honour of the Weaker Vessel
(Rightly Placed Under)
Text: 1 Peter 3:1-7
Obj: that the brethren may know and appreciate the important and rightful place
of women in the church and in the home

Intro:
Feminism, Sodomites (SOGIE) – misplaced fight for value
Erosion of Gender Roles – Important to Uphold biblical teaching on this

What can we expect if we Correctly place the value/importance of the women:
1. Win-win – v.1
a. Church, family – unbeliever/believer – results in a better position
2. Proper place for Fame – vv. 2-4
a. Why do women want to be famous the wrong way? 1 Cor. 14:34-35
3. Honour - comes in trusting the Lord – vv. 5-6
a. “Special” days are used by those that celebrate it the way they want
b. It brings to bare about their true nature – wicked perverts – reprobates!
4. Husbands have the important role of placing the women and keeping them in check – vv. 7
a. Men and Women – know your place – accept the facts – “weaker” -Eph 5:21-25
b. Gen 3:16; 1Cor 11:3; 1Tim. 2

Message/conclusion:

Let us know and appreciate the important and rightful place of women in the church and in the home and teach it to the next generations
