God’s love is not unconditional and that’s not a problem

God loves everyone generally (the rain falls on the just and the unjust) but His saving, merciful and gracious love IS conditioned by our faith and repentance. We must have faith and we must repent of sin to enjoy the gracious love of God. We are saved by faith for Pete’s sake!
