My Family is Poor
(Success Knows No Status)
Text: Judges 6
Obj: that the brethren with their may be encourage to Succeed in the Lord

Intro:
Family – define, verses
Poor, Failure, Success
Sample of poor – did have success (then failure) – Saul and David (other kings)

Having Success, No Matter Your Status:
1. All Started with the Lord – v.6:1 - Success, raising leaders, allows troubles
a. 6:8 – Lord raise prophet/preacher
b. 6:11- angel
2. Recognize the problem
a. It is reality
b. Comes from Sin – v6:1
c. People Question God – 6:13 - save us - demand
3. Recognize Status can be a hinder but not that important – really! 6:15
4. Trust the Lord – 6:16 – “surely I will be with thee”
a. Don’t focus on the messenger, but rather the message – much was done to the angel
b. Fear the Lord – not men – 6:27
c. Go by His Spirit – v.34
Message/conclusion:

Let us be encouraged to Succeed, specially in the Lord, no matter our status is
