Watch: Eldorado Park Community Rise Up Against Gang Related Shootings

This week, several residents, NPOs, and NGOs camped outside the Eldorado police station in protest against the ongoing gang-related violence. Community members sang and danced in protest around an empty coffin and painted 19 crime scene sketches on the street representing those who were killed this year alone.
Following several gang-related shootings and the murder of two teenagers, the city of Joburg’s Public Safety MMC David Tembe promised residents of Eldorado Park that police visibly will be increased. Video Timothy Bernard / African News Agency (ANA)
