The Pokemon TCG Overview is a video series where I talk about a Pokemon line and how it has fared in the TCG along with other trading card game facts relevant to the Pokemon.

The Luxray family is an easy pokemon line to like from diamond and pearl. Never mind the cool factor, it's a reliable pokemon if you raise it to go through the story of the games and you have access to it from the start. The way its stats were spread in addition with its movepool always rubbed me the wrong way back when I was a lot about competitive wi fi battling but the good thing about the tcg is that it seperates those stats and any pokemon card can be good if the designers feel like it. Despite having a good number of weak cards under its belt, Luxray still has a legacy so strong and so famous in the tcg that even if you're a newer player you're probably familar with it.
