Harmeet Dhillon: "Judge Derek was accepted by the DOJ as well after the Trump folks objected to their judges. And so I think it's a good appointment and it's really brilliant by Judge Cannon to pick this Special Master because one of the objections of the DOJ was, how can you possibly let this random Special Master look at these superclassified documents?

Of course, a recent FISA judge has all the clearances necessary to look at all of those documents. And so she's checked made of the government on that issue. And the order also rejects government arguments that there is somehow some compelling need for DOJ prosecutors.

And she also calls out the government for the leaks and otherwise, it's an excellent balanced order, and I don't think the 11th Circuit is going to take issue with it."
