Visiting the Iconic Field of Dreams | 1800 Mile Road Trip (Part 2)

In this travel vlog, I completed my 1800 Mile Road Trip and a week-long excursion to visit a couple of friends while spending time in the heartland of Iowa. Little did I know it would be the height of the gas price hike and the start of a 2-week heat wave across the middle of the country.

I enjoyed the quiet beauty of Iowa, the small towns, that not only have some unique architecture but a visual display of the history of each town. While visiting a friend during her stay at her family's farm we explored multiple farms, drove backroads, and listened to stories from a retired farmer. Don't sleep on what this state has to offer; from the quirky to the iconic.

I began planning my trip to Iowa and found everything from quaint, quirky, and Iconic and knew that one of the highlights of my journey, would spark multiple memories. I have multiple memories of baseball, if someone asks - do you want to go to a game, it's an automatic, resounding yes. I love the atmosphere of a baseball game, spending time with friends, enjoying an adult beverage, and a stadium dog.

Having seen the baseball movie with Kevin Costner multiple times, I planned my route to not only stop and see another friend who lives in the northeast area of Iowa but made sure that - depending on the time I would either stop by the iconic baseball field before or after, making sure regardless I visited and experiencing the baseball nostalgia. I highly recommend driving and visiting the iconic Field of Dreams movie location.
