One of the biggest challenges of being a leader is communicating effectively with a variety of stakeholders. As a leader, your communication determines your success. That’s how you accomplish your goals and plans every single day. And considering complexity of recent disruption, even the most competent leaders can sometimes have difficulties on communicating with their clients and teams.

I had the honor of interviewing Kendall Haven from StoryStreetUSA. He is an author of 35 fiction & nonfiction books most of them around communication. He has delivered talks at 20 Federal Government departments/agencies, 30 corporations & organizations, 235 school districts. His two recent books are story Proof and Story Smart.

Kendall shared insights on effective communication in both business and non-business environment. He explained science behind stories and art of communication. He also shared some of the common mistakes and its impact on organization and communication.
