Don’t Let satan Devour Your Soul
Your soul is your responsibility. If you are not walking sober and upright, the devil will take any opportunity to devour your soul. I want to read to you what is written in 1 Peter 5:8-9 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.” Satan is just looking for an opportunity to destroy you, and it is YOUR responsibility to walk in the middle of the straight and narrow path. If you deviate, if you start walking crooked, satan is just waiting for that opportunity to devour your soul and destroy you. No one else is going to make you walk the straight and narrow path with Jesus. If you want everlasting life YOU are doing to have to do it yourself: YOU are going to have to choose in your heart to walk with Jesus, to listen to Him and OBEY HIM. NO ONE ELSE CAN MAKE THE DECISION FOR YOU! Not a pastor, not a preacher, not a mentor, no one is going to hold you responsible to do what is right. Either YOU are going to choose to walk with Jesus or you’re going to do your own thing. But satan is just waiting, like a lion, ready to devour anyone is not going to walk with Jesus.
