WOMAN FATALLY SHOOTS EX-BOYFRIEND DURING FIGHT INSIDE HER HOME – LIKELY SELF DEFENSE

During the investigation, the shooter told officers that the man was her ex-boyfriend and that he came into her house and they got into a physical fight. Reportedly, fearing for her safety, she allegedly grabbed a gun and fired it at him. (She has not been arrested.)

The case was presented to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, who determined it would be presented to a grand jury for review. (This is what is typically done in TX when police believe a killing was done in self defense.)
