Von der Leyen given award by Ukraine's Zelenskiy

President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Kyiv on Thursday (September 15) morning and was awarded the state order of Yaroslav the Wise by Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. Von der Leyen received the award by a presidential decree for "strengthening interstate cooperation, supporting state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and for significant promotion of Ukraine in the world."
