Lakeland's Salvation Army to expand shelter as it faces 'tsunami' of need

Soon, a palette of cinder blocks behind the current shelter will become an expansion that adds 20 new rooms to the Community of Hope. “What we’re doing is we’re taking what we already know works, and we’re not reinventing the wheel.
