Jacob Vochatzer Interview at Reawaken America Tour in Batavia/Rochester, NY 8/13/22 Day 2

Jacob approached Pastor Ruth a day after she spoke at ReAwaken America, asking for prayer, saying she was the only one of all the speakers who got on her knees for her King. He also felt a strong anointing when she was speaking, and it moved him like none of the other speakers did.

In this interview, Jacob shares how Jesus snatched him from the pit of hell. For 6+ years he was a drug addict with no hope. He couldn't get free. On his 25th birthday while in jail, God told him it was now or never...or God would give him away to the devil. This put the fear of God in him. After going to Teen Challenge & back to jail for something he didn't do, he went to smoke some weed with a former friend who was a witch. That friend gave him some meth, and begged Jacob for his soul. Suddenly he was in a room before the courtroom of God, yet with his Bible in his hands and the pages flipping supernaturally without any wind. The pages moved to a verse hit him hard..."what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and loose his own soul" (Mark 8:36). Suddenly he was back in the room with the witch trying to suck his soul out of his neck. He thought all hope was gone, but then Jesus Christ, the King of the Universe, at just the right time manifested Himself to him, telling Jacob to tell the demon no. He felt his soul suck back into his body. God told him to rebuke the demon controlled witch. From that point on, Jacob knew God existed & was sold out for him. By God's grace, he has been clean & sober the last 4 years.

The fear of the Lord is what has kept him sober.
