Care court signed into law by CA governor

Governor Gavin Newsom signed legislation enacting Care Court on Wednesday. The Community Assistance, Recovery, and Empowerment Act will allow families, clinicians, first responders and others the right to possibly force individuals suffering from schizophrenia or other psychotic disorders into treatment.
