The Los Angeles Lakers have a lot of work to do to become NBA Title contenders once again. After missing the playoffs in the 2021-22 NBA Season, Lakers GM Rob Pelinka did not make major changes to the Lakers roster that was plagued by injury all year long. Both LeBron James and Anthony Davis missed significant time with injuries, not giving the Lakers a chance to compete for a playoff spot in the western conference. The Patrick Beverley trade gave the Lakers a much needed boost in the leadership department, but do they have enough depth to compete?
