Shopping for a $6 Million Dollar Beach House!

Really would love the opportunity to live on the ocean one day. Maybe not as soon as I once intended, but definitely will be on the ocean one day. This house needs a lot of cosmetic work but at 5,500sq.ft. of living space you can imagine how that will add up!

Would love to see if I can pull this deal off. I absolutely need more rentals before I commit to such a large property. My original plan was to buy a place on the ocean, live there in the winter, then rent it out in the summer seasons when the weekly rental rates exceed $30,000/wk.

Some quick math on this property with the loan and an interest rate at 7% + property taxes $35,000/yr. Left me with a monthly fixed expense of around $32,000/mo.

If I were to buy the house and have no income for whatever reason for 3 months, that's the FASTEST $100k that have ever left me.

The smart decision is to stick to my roots and stick to what I know. I need more doors.

At a bare minimum, touring a $6 Million house on the ocean has framed my mind to achieve having a house like this one day. As Steve Harvey said, "Our only limitations are what we are EXPOSED to". I have never been to a house like this in my life. Could've gone my whole life never going in a house like this and I would've never known what I'm missing out on -- now, I know.
