Alien Anthropologists

Episode III of Alien Anthropologists, a Romantic Comedy/Sci-Fi/Political Farce, is set in Washington D.C. in the year 2022. As explained in the opening title sequence, "After a brief respite from tyranny, the Old Republic is again under the thumb of the Elites." As Episode III opens, Zeno, an Alien Anthropologist, has been sent to earth to replace his predecessor, Altar, who was returned to his home planet after suffering a nervous breakdown apparently from having to observe humanity up close. On arrival Alien Supervisor explains Zeno's duties and responsibilities which include the admonition that he has been sent to Earth only as an objective observer of humanity's ultimate self-destruction. As Supervisor explains, "That humanity will destroy itself is not a burden born on our shoulders." Zeno's initial assignment on Planet Earth is to observe Jack Wilson - newly elected to the Senate, since, as Alien Supervisor explains "...[Wilson] appears to be a genuinely honest human being - something we have never seen before in their political class." Not long after his arrival Zeno begins to falter in his assignment, helping Senator Wilson much to the chagrin of Alien Supervisor who is determined to have Zeno decommissioned and sent back for violation of the "primary command" that nothing be done which might "...alter the natural evolutionary course of human history" and risk "the spread of the pestilence known as humankind into the rest of the Universe!" and thus the trouble begins.
