A publicly accessible Name Database...what could go wrong.

So Japan is considering a law making a publicly accessible and downloadable Database that requires anyone operating under a stage name or pen name to disclose their real name for better tax tracking. Problem here, the person introducing this potential law in Japan doesn't see a name as PII. I can google dozens of doxxing attacks, and this legislation would make such things that much easier.

With a lot of sarcasm, what could go wrong? Anyone with some foresight can tell you.
