They way I approach it -
Rule #1 always depth check before jumping!
Rule #2 build up to big heights like this jump. You can be going at speeds of up to 50mph. If you're body position is off you will not penetrate the water and slow down gradually ( think of this like a car crash).
Rule #3 If you are doing big heights, have someone in the water or near by who can help if needed.
