14.09.22 Hundreds protested outside parliament in Madrid, against government plans to ban prostitution.
Prostitutes, cleaners, servers, managers and brothel keepers marched through the city streets against the new law, under which ‘pimping’ can carry a prison sentence of three to six years.
Prostitutes’ clients would also be fined, while the sex worker cannot be penalized in any case.
