A cold front has pushed through overnight with cooler air behind the front. Highs will range in the upper 60s by the lakeshore, and lower 70s inland with northeast winds at 5 to 10 mph. While skies will be mostly sunny, there will be a haze in the sky due to smoke from wildfires raging in the west coast being transported by the jet stream. Tonight, we cool off into the mid 50s with mostly clear skies and calm winds. Winds turn to the south Thursday as we warm back up to around 80 degrees. Lower 80s will likely top off our highs Friday with partly cloudy skies. There will be some showers and storms far north along the U.P. and WI state line as a warm front stations itself there. A slight chance of showers or storms are possible Saturday, but a better chance will occur overnight Saturday into Sunday morning. It does appear that the football game Sunday night should be rain free.
