Most food photography is a process of repetition. Rarely, if ever, will you be at one location for six hours surrounded by ascot-wearing socialites shooting exquisite magazine compositions for thousands of dollars. Gigs are precious, but time is even more so. This series documents a day in the life of gig-hopping. Some tips are revealed to show how to save time. By no means is this professional advice. Studio work affords all of the prep and time for perfection. Location shoots are often unpredictable. Prepare gear that is quick and efficient because the goal is to stack gigs without compromising quality.
