How to properly meal prep raw cat food

Make raw cat and kitten food at home easily with these meal prep supplies. This is everything I use for homemade cat food.

Prepare your cat's raw food at home safely using these supplies.

You'll need glass containers (no plastic), a digital scale, gloves, mat, food dish, and raw food supplies.

We use glass containers to thaw raw meat in the refrigerator. Plastic traps bacteria. Even with regular washing!

Thaw meat in the refrigerator at least 24 hours before you plan to meal prep.

Cover the surface with saran wrap or butcher's paper for easy cleanup. Wear gloves to keep yourself sanitary.

Mix raw food chubs with water and supplements.

Then use your cat's food plate on the digital scale to weigh out servings.

I put the ice packs under the ice cube trays to keep the servings cool. Once the ice cube tray is full, put it in the freezer.

You can reuse glass jars for thawing individual servings. Just pop out the servings from the ice cube trays.

And put the servings in the refrigerator at least 24 hours before serving.

We use stainless steel or glass plates for our kitties as well! Ditch plastic!
