Don't travel without hiring a cat sitter!

I worked as a cat sitter and dog walker for 3 years. This is exactly how to prepare for visits and how a sitting visit goes.

Get peace of mind while you travel and hire a professional cat sitter!

A professional sitter will come in to take care of your cat and give lots of love.

I absolutely loved working as a cat sitter and dog walker.

This is how my cat sitting visits go and everything our company asked of clients.

How to look for a cat sitter

Search online for a cat sitter near you.

Check out reviews and the company's website.

Most companies will gladly send references to you.

Read through their services, key policy, and see if they are insured and bonded.

Meeting a cat sitter

The owner of the company will likely want to speak with you on the phone.

He/she will gather emergency contact information as well as background information about your cat.

Please tell the owner of the company about any special needs your cats may have.

You will also confirm your destination, departure date/time, and arrival date/time.

Next you will meet the sitters in person at your home.

You will confirm details and show the cat sitter where everything is located.

A cat sitting visit

Most visits are 30 minutes long. But some companies offer extended visits for an additional cost.

The cat sitter will come in to refresh the food, water, and litter. This part of the visit only takes about 5 minutes.

The rest of the visit is dedicated to spending time with your babies!

Even if your baby is shy, he will benefit from having a cat sitter come in.

Many clients have told me, "you'll never see my cat" but after a few visits we are besties.

I strongly encourage you to hire a professional while you travel or if you work late.
