My first YouTube check and how I spent it

I started my YouTube channel in November 2020. It took 8 months to get monetized. And I got my first check from YT in Sept.

My channel was monetized starting July 18, 2021 (my birthday!!).

I did not meet the minimum payout of $100 for that month. So July's income carried over into August.

The first 30 days after monetization I made approximately $161.36.

Technically my first check includes the first 30 days plus an extra ~ 2 weeks.

July + August = my first check, $251.60.

Google Adsense pays out the month after.

At the time of making this video, my online business is very close to earning a full-time income for me.

Once I am earning more than a full-time income and have extra money to spend, I will donate to charity monthly and continue to reinvest in the channel.
