Democrats announce that the Senate will hold hearings based on an allegation by Former U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman in his new book. In an interview with Rachel Meadow, Berman agrees that Bill Barr fired him because of the political nature of sensitive cases such as the Stephen Bannon and Ukraine investigation. The Majority Report crew discusses how allegedly, Berman was asked by the Trump administration to reverse the conviction of Michele Cohen and to prosecute a Democrat lawyer who was acquitted by a jury in less than five hours for the 2018 midterm election. The MR crew talks about the need to investigate Trump and Bush’s corruption because Republicans need to be held accountable for using the DOJ in their personal or political party’s favor.

The Bush administration was trying to restrict voting, they wanted to have across the country voter ID laws. They wanted to limit the number of voting polling places, they wanted to- all the things that the republicans are successfully doing now, the Bush administration and the Republicans were pushing at the time they needed a predicate for it and that would be the voting fraud, but they could not find any voting fraud and they began to pressure U.S. attorneys around the country. Remember the department of justice has subsidiary U.S. attorneys essentially all around the country multiple ones in some states and they kept pressuring these to find voter fraud cases and most of them couldn't...
