Why Tyrants Hate The Second Amendment

There is an undeniable link between the second
amendment and tyranny. Tyrants long ago figured out
that if they could disarm the people, their power would
be virtually absolute. Britain used gun confiscation to
subjugate its colonies. Napoleon used gun confiscation
to rule his empire. Hitler disarmed the Jews in the
ghettos - leading to the final solution. Communists kept
order in Russia with guns taken away from the people.
Every tyrant and despot in history had a core belief: "To
conquer a nation, first disarm its citizens." Some will say
that disarming citizens is impossible here in America
because of its history and culture, but Noah Webster
said it best more than 100 years ago: "Before a standing
army can rule, the people MUST be disarmed; as they
are in almost every kingdom of Europe. The supreme
power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the
sword; because the whole body of citizens are armed,
and constitute a force superior to any band of regular
troops.
