GR Research Nxtreme Review - One Year Later

I've now had the GR Research Nxtreme speakers for over a year now. I get lots of emails asking for comparisons to other open baffles such as Spatial, Linkwitz, Magnepan, etc as well as comparisons to the cost-no-object systems I feature.

This isn't a typical "review" with lots of sound impression audiophile jargon. I'm mainly focusing on how these rank to me and WHY I enjoy them compared to other options. I also share where I deviate from GR Research and do some unique things to extract the performance I prefer.

In total, I hope this gives you better insight into what I value and whether you may share these same preferences and enjoy the speaker as much as I have. Alternatively, it may highlight things that will make you choose other options that are more aligned to your tastes.

In general, I can confidently say this is one of the best audiophile speakers in the world, but the word "best" is not something that is universal and objective. You will have to digest many of the things I mention in this video in order to choose the "best" speaker for YOUR tastes if they don't sink with mine.
