Live: Market Crashing After High Than Expect CPI

The stock market is in free fall today, with the DJIA dropping over 1,000 points after a higher than expected CPI report. The "peak inflation" narrative was flipped on it's head once again when inflation came in at 8.3% despite months of the artificially suppressed energy prices. This comes just two days ahead of the Federal Reserve increasing the pace of Quantitative Tightening and a week ahead of Jerome Powell's next anticipated 75 basis point rate hike.
