Nintendo held their Nintendo Direct this morning. Let's talk about it. Nintendo announced dozens of games coming to the Nintendo Switch system this year and next during its Nintendo Direct video presentation. A mysterious new trailer featuring some new gameplay set above the clouds was shown during the presentation, in addition to the official name and launch date of the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. In 2023, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will launch exclusively for the Nintendo Switch family of systems.

In addition to Pikmin 4, Nintendo Direct highlighted SQUARE ENIX's OCTOPATH TRAVELER II, the sequel to the acclaimed HD-2D RPG that launches on Feb. 24, 2023; Fire Emblem Engage, the next entry in the storied franchise, is set to debut on Jan. 20, 2023; Hazelight Studios' award-winning, genre-bending co-op adventure It Takes Two, arriving on Nintendo Switch on Nov. 4, 2023; and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe, a Kirby adventure game originally released for Wii., making its Nintendo Switch debut on Feb. 24, 2023.

In addition to Tales of Symphonia, four terrifyingly fun Resident Evil titles from CAPCOM will also return to Nintendo Switch in cloud versions; a remaster of the classic action-RPG Tales of Symphonia will also be available; and a new lineup of Nintendo 64 games will be coming soon to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, including Mario Party, Pokémon Stadium, Pilotwings 64, Excitebike 64, and 1080° Snowboarding. GoldenEye 007 is back!
