Splatoon 3 Online Anarchy Battles (Recorded on 9/12/22)

I have been playing this game online quite a bit since it came out and I’m starting to get the hang of the mechanics again, but I still have a lot of room for improvement. Last night I had some decent matches where I got around 20 kills, so here are my better matches in the ranked mode from last night.

Apparently, this game no longer has a specific League (team) mode, which is really weird, so you can run into a team of four when you’re playing by yourself. That seems to be what happened in the final match. It can be really bad when you play against a Japanese team and get spawn camped.

I’m not a fan of the clam jam mode, but I did fairly well in the first two matches and ended up defending the base quite a bit. Perhaps I could have pushed forward more and tossed some clams into the goal, but the Heavy Splatling isn’t good for run and gun, and my teammates seemed to be going on offense anyway.
